Scenic Drives
Various options for guided drives over 4 x 4 terrains through the Conservancy are offered. Game drives and sundowner drives to Aalwynkoppie are amongst the more regular drives undertaken.

Horse Rides
Arguably the best way to explore the Conservancy is on horseback. Several options are offered and can be tailored to your needs.

Hunting
Hunting is allowed on Goedehoop in conformity to our commitment to eco-friendly and sustainable harvesting of our natural environment. You therefore have the privilege to hunt antelope or bird species through traditional methods, i.e. on foot or horseback. The terrain over which you will hunt varies from savannah plains where Zebra’s, Black Wildebeest, Blesbuck and Springbuck are encountered, sandy veld with Oryx to rocky hills where the Grey Rhebuck may even be seen.

We endorse the ethical codes of Safari Club International (SCI) and that of Rowland Ward. Therefore, it is expected of all prospective hunters to acquaint themselves with this:

The Hunter's Code of Ethics
♦ Recognizing my responsibilities to wildlife, habitat and future generations, I pledge:
♦ To conduct myself in the field so as to make a positive contribution to wildlife and ecosystems.
♦ To improve my skills as a woodsman and marksman to ensure humane harvesting of wildlife.
♦ To comply with all game laws, in the spirit of Fair Chase, and to influence my companions accordingly.
♦ To accept my responsibility to provide all possible assistance to game law enforcement officers.
♦ To waste no opportunity to teach young people the full meaning of this code of ethics.
♦ To reflect in word and behaviour only credit upon the fraternity of sportsmen, and to demonstrate abiding respect for game, habitat and property where I am privileged to hunt.
